Shot requirements for students entering 7th and 12th grade for the school year
Updated shot records MUST be turned in to the office by the first day of school. Please make arrangements with your doctor or the health department now, as it will be one less thing to think about in the fall. Students who are not compliant with requirements may be subject to exclusion from school.
Students entering 7th grade:
One dose of Tdap vaccine must be administered prior to entry. One dose of meningococcal (serogroup A,C,W, and Y) vaccine must be administered prior to entry.
Students entering 12th grade:
Two doses of meningococcal (serogroup A, C, W, and Y) vaccine must be administered prior to entry. **If the first dose of meningococcal vaccine is administered on or after the 16th birthday, a second dose is not required.
